This includes being familiar with how computers work, what components go into computers, and the basics of troubleshooting. It also involves having a fundamental knowledge of operating systems, networking, data storage and retrieval, hardware installation, software programs, and safety measures that protect important data.

The most important requirement when it comes to learning anything is having a desire to learn it.
