Albert Kiefer, a digital visualization artist, began drawing at a young age and drew inspiration from TV to create imaginative alien spacecraft and superhero suits. After completing his studies in drawing and art history at the Maastricht Institute of Arts, he gained experience in 3D modeling and rendering while working at a computer graphics firm. Having more than 35 years of experience, he currently operates as a freelancer in the visualization industry, converting ideas and concepts into images or animations.

After a period of time, Albert developed a yearning for traditional art forms and reverted back to his passion for sketching.

Over time, his artistic style developed into the colorful and expressive one seen today. He is credited with publishing Au Japon!, a compilation of sketches featuring Japanese architecture, and producing a set of instructional videos for Gerstaecker. In addition, he displays his artwork on both his website and social media accounts using the name Housesketcher.
